Thy Kingdom Come starts today

Thy Kingdom Come is the call of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York for people to pray ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ from Ascension Day to Pentecost, particularly praying for people to know the love of God – to know Jesus.

Thy Kingdom Come is a global wave of prayer calling all Christians to pray together between 13 to 23 May 2021.

As part of this global movement, people and churches of all kinds in Suffolk are praying to see people come to know the love of Christ in our county. We would love you to join in!

Join this popular global wave of prayer supported by all church denominations.  Sign up to the Suffolk Prayer marathon at www.light-wave.org/thy-kingdom-come and if you are a Facebook user, join the Suffolk in Prayer Facebook Group here.

Catching the Fire

Concluding the Thy Kingdome Come's 10 days of prayer, 'Catching the Fire’ is a special service offered this Pentecost held at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Sunday 23 May at 4.00pm

You are warmly invited to join in our Diocesan celebration of mission.  Come and hear stories of what God has been doing in Suffolk throughout the pandemic and pray for his light and love to be healing and strengthening in our communities in the months ahead.

You can book a physical place at the Cathedral by emailing: cathedralinvitations@stedscathedral.org.  As places are limited by Covid-19 restrictions, the service will also be streamed on the St Edmundsbury Cathedral and Lightwave Facebook pages.
