Streaming equipment for St Martin’s Church, Trimley

St Martin’s Church, Trimley, used their grant to fund up to date streaming equipment for their church. The new tech meant that the church could competently livestream their services outside of the church, enabling them to reach larger audiences and catch up with their sister church, St Mary, which had benefitted from having their own streaming equipment.

The installation of the equipment was completed at the end of September 2022, with the first service streaming at the end of October 2022.

The main objective was to ensure that the Trimley parish could reliably support St Mary’s Walton by ensuring it was possible to stream a service out of the benefice to those who either were unable to physically make it to church or who in the post-Covid world were still not comfortable about mixing with large groups of people. This has since been successfully achieved, despite having a limited technical team of three people.

The equipment has also been used to record funerals and weddings on request.
