The Growing in God Growth Fund enabled a group of 13 young people to attend Gather at Sizewell Hall earlier this year. Gather is a weekend of craziness, worship, games and friendship all focused around learning more about living as a Christian in the 21st Century and enables like minded young Christians to meet and foster friendships with other Christians their age.
This trip away was a great success and was a fantastic way to engage the young people in conversations about Jesus. Gather enabled them to have some great experiences, on who Jesus is and how they can carry on the Christian journey for themselves.
The young people that attended Gather were signposted to resources and activities they can take part in more local to where they live, with the ones living more locally being able to take part and engage in activities run by the Church Army.
