The Revd Malcolm Eric Osborne, The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev’d Max Osborne as Rural Dean of Mildenhall in addition to his current role as Vicar, All Saints, Newmarket. This appointment took effect from 6 September 2019.

The Revd Rosemary Ives Stewart Rycraft, The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev’d Rosemary Ives Stewart Rycraft as Assistant Rural Dean of Mildenhall in addition to her current role as Priest in Charge, Dalham, Gazeley, Higham, Kentford and Moulton. This appointment took effect from 6 September 2019.

The Revd David Alan Butcher, moves from Assistant Curate (SSM) at The Benefice of Mildenhall, Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, to Assistant Curate at The Benefice of Mildenhall, Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich on 17 October 2019.

 The Revd Philip Miller, currently Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Hundred River and Wainford, will become Rector of the Benefice of Hundred River and Wainford following the lifting of the benefice suspension. The licensing will take place on 19 January 2020, by the Acting Archdeacon of Suffolk, at St John the Baptist Church, Beccles.

The Revd Elke Brunhilde Emma Cattermole, Assistant Curate, The Benefice of Lavenham with Preston is moving to Priest in Charge, The Benefice of Bildeston with Wattisham and Lindsey, Whatfield with Semer, Nedging and Naughton.  She will be licensed on 24 September 2019 at St Mary Magdalene, Bildeston by the Bishop of Dunwich.

The Revd Trevor Golding has submitted resignation to relinquish his post as: Vicar, St Augustine of Hippo. Trevor will be taking up a new post in the London Diocese.

The Revd Christopher David Eyden, Team Vicar, All Saints, Putney Common, Southwark Diocese is moving to be Assistant Curate (Interim Parish Priest) of the Benefice of Haverhill with Withersfield and Formation Adviser in the Diocese.  He will be licensed on 3 September 2019 at The Bishops Oratory, Park Road, Ipswich by the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

The Reverend Catherine Robin BLADEN currently Priest-in-Charge The Parishes of Hepworth with Hinderclay and Thelnetham, Stanton, Barningham, Coney Weston, Hopton and Market Weston will be moving to Rector, The Benefice of Stanton.  This took effect on 21 December 2018.

The Reverend Katherine Anne Valentine currently Priest in Charge of the Benefice of Pakenham, Norton, Tostock with Great Ashfield, Hunston and Stowlangtoft will be moving to Rector, The Benefice of Pakenham with Norton, Tostock, Great Ashfield, Hunston and Stowlangtoft. This took effect on 21 December 2018.
